It seems people like to take me to random cool places in the middle of the night. Not sure why these things don’t come up during the day, night time viewings make for crappier pictures.
The same night I got to see the RECORDING STUDIO in Ocho Rios, I also got to see this cute little natural wonder…Milford Falls. These little falls are located on Milford road quite far up the hill. Any taxi driver would know where it is.

From what I saw (in the dark) the falls...

The first time I saw any advertisements for this stuff was in September 2009. Of course I wondered what it would taste like so I bought some. My first thought is that it MUST be similar to Magnum, another Jamaican wine concoction, because of the size of the bottle and the hot girl on the label. Magnum, they say, makes you horny for lack of a better word. I don’t know why they say that because it just makes me tired….it’s alcohol!

I can’t really get enough of watching people dance….I grew up dancing myself. Maybe subconsciously that’s why I was drawn to Jamaica, because that’s all they do there is dance! EVERYONE in that country can do it!
When I’m at home and out in public listening to my Ipod I always feel like busting out into a Jamaican dance but then realize people would look at me like I’m a fool here. But if I was in Jamaica they’d probably just join right in!
A while back...

Before I even start this post there’s no way you’ll REALLY get a feeling of what rain in Jamaica is like. When it rains there…IT RAINS!! The absolute worst rain I ever experienced in Jamaica was April 2008 at about 4:00AM. It woke us up by setting off ALL the car alarms in the parking lot below my apartment. We opened the door and just sat under the protection of our veranda and watched in amazement.
Check out the drain pipe on the left in this picture. This is up at Shaw Park...

In ten trips to Jamaica this was honestly the first time I ever saw a vendor weigh their produce before they sell it. I guess I haven’t been shopping at the right places.
My friend took this picture since she was sitting in the front seat of our parked car in St Ann’s Bay. This guy was just on the roadside with his scale, selling his yam. The reason this picture is so entertaining for me is because of the scale. I think it’s awesome! I STILL say simplicity rules! Makes our...

Okay this is no joke! People ride in truck backs in the most UNSAFE ways in Jamaica! I often get stuck behind or end up passing vehicles like these on the roads and marvel at how they put their lives in the hands of fate.
I followed these guys for quite a ways between Ochi and Montego Bay. Once we got stuck behind them at the red light they realized I was taking pictures and started waving.
This next one had me in complete awe. I couldn’t believe this because we were driving about 130...

Not much to say about this video except that it’s one of my favorite ones I ever took!
I went to the library in Ocho Rios one day and these kids were just playing and singing in the yard right beside the library. I pulled out my camera and they didn’t seem to mind! You will see and hear this a lot in Jamaica….school kids singing these kinds of songs. It’s so pleasant to hear and fun to watch.
The tiny girl in the middle makes me laugh!
