I highly doubt anyone would EVER ask this question about Jamaica but you never know!  And the answer is YES! The greatest thing in Jamaica is that even if you go completely alone it only takes about 5 minutes to make a friend. This day I wasn’t alone but I sure made at least ten new friends and I didn’t even have to move. I sat in the same chair for 5 hours and had the greatest day! A man who’s name I won’t mention because of the ganja pulled up a chair beside me this afternoon...

Apparently there REALLY is an app for everything with Iphone! This is something I just noticed in Sangster airport since September because I never noticed it in April. It’s an application for Iphone where you can see and hear Jamaican Patois and learn to speak it LOL. Hilarious! Mind you, after looking over it, it only shows basic Patois but it does have the most common phrases you might hear. I wonder if the full application gets into anything complicated? Anyways, if you have an Iphone...

Alright this will be my shortest blog post ever! While driving on the main highway between Montego Bay and Ocho Rios we saw a pretty decent car accident. This police cruiser was at the scene and I noticed the bumper with a phone number on it: 1-800-CORRUPT. It seemed pretty funny to me considering the stereotype about Jamaican police LOL! Do Americans need donations right now? Q: I fell in love with Jamaican. A:...

Since March gave me almost 500 search terms in my stats, here we go with another installment of my favorites.  These are the funniest things that people searched on the internet that landed them onto my blog. NOTE:  Just for pure interest, by FAR the most searched for things were Jamaican police and Jamaican firefighters! Q:  What does one Jamaican CENT convert to in USD? A: Well, since 1 Jamaican Dollar = 0.01137 US Dollar , then you do the math. Q: What is a “Q” word in Jamaica? A:...

This is my first installment of the whacked out questions and search terms people have Googled, and then stumbled onto my site as a result. I’m going to attempt to address them every couple months just for pure entertainment. I have a good giggle every month when I review my stats. YES these are real questions people have asked. Enjoy! Q: What do Jamaicans want? A: I’m assuming they might want to win the lottery, just like everyone else in the world! Q: When traveling from Kingston,...
