We have a next photo contest winner! The theme for the contest was “Children in Jamaica” and this photo won by most votes. It was submitted by Shiquita Woodyard. She took this photo of her son Elijah on Christmas eve (believe it or not!), at Hellshire beach in Portmore, Jamaica.

We have a new winner of the “Fishing in Jamaica” photo contest.  What a beautiful picture!  It was entered by Theresa Majich Goodell.

Here’s what she had to say about the origination of this photo:

“The photo was taken in December 2006 at the beautiful white, sandy beach of Long Bay in Portland, Jamaica. Just next door were Yahimba Beach Cottages, the cutest little cottages. But Hurricane Dean in 2007 had something to say about it, destroying the cottages & ravaging the beach in Long Bay. Alas, the cottages are no more but the beach is still spectacular!”

Alright we have another winner!

The theme for our photo contest that just ended was RED STRIPE and the winner by most votes, was Mary Croteau again! Someone’s gotta give this lady a run for her money sometime!

This was her STUNNING shot featuring Red Stripe, taken at Lover’s Leap on Jamaica’s south coast. Amazing!!
