Apparently there REALLY is an app for everything with Iphone! This is something I just noticed in Sangster airport since September because I never noticed it in April.
It’s an application for Iphone where you can see and hear Jamaican Patois and learn to speak it LOL. Hilarious! Mind you, after looking over it, it only shows basic Patois but it does have the most common phrases you might hear. I wonder if the full application gets into anything complicated?
Anyways, if you have an Iphone and are bored on your plane to Jamaica, and you feel like learning some lingo, I guess you can download this app!
I wonder if it explains what Gaza and Gully are?

There is more than one of these apps. When I went to the iTunes Store looking for Yeahmon, I noticed that the #1 paid app in the list for me was something called “Speakin Jamaican” (which it turns out is a different app). Anyway, I eventually found “yeahmon” and learned that “It’s like having a Jamaican in the palm of your hands!”. Wow! This could be a very good thing or a very bad thing.

Yes, and it did say app was also available for blackberry but I can’t find one…Does anyone know if there is one or what it is called?
