More Jamaican Countryside

A while back I posted about the beauty of getting out and seeing Jamaica’s countryside. See that post HERE. There’s more to this island than just beaches and hotels. You could stop anywhere on a roadside and get out for a hike and see some of the most beautiful greenery.  The rolling hills seem endless on this island.

This day we were out and about hiking on the North Coast which is where I was fascinated by these big old trees….stunning!

Along the way you might run into random livestock. Its normal to see goats, cows, and horses just randomly out enjoying their day too.

And you can also find the coolest photo-worthy things just plopped in the middle of nowhere. Jamaica has a lot of history and it seems these pieces along roadsides are remnants of this history.

You are DEFINITELY missing out if you stay at your hotel and lay on the beach drinking all day.
