Ultimate Jerk Center – Jamaica
Here’s one place you should definitely stop when you arrive in Jamaica, if you’re visiting the north coast. Ultimate Jerk Center is right on the main highway on the way to Runaway Bay, you can’t miss it. If you’re traveling east it’ll be on your left hand side and is always worth the stop.

We stopped here because one of my travel friends insists on finding jerk chicken within minutes of arriving on the island! I’m glad we stopped here instead of Scotchie’s because this was something new for me too. I’d never been to Ultimate before.

The prices were very reasonable at Ultimate and the chicken was great! They had other food too, I noticed fish on the menu as well as everything jerk. And I had festival with my chicken. There’s also a good size bar here and it seems to be a popular stop for travelers. I think we even saw a tour bus stop here. Its a huge place really, plenty of room.

And my personal favorite was this napping doggy outside the place. He was so cute and was so busy being comfortable that he couldn’t be bothered getting up when people came by!

My tour from nine miles stopped here. Great jerk pork and chicken, bammy loved it, it was the first time I had it and I hated dried cassava at home and the festivals were much better than at the hotel.

Ultimate is the best family spot in Jamaica. It is big, it is open yet safe. A place where you can just bring your beach towel or blanket and lay on the neatly cut grass. Nice music playing in the back grown,’whow’ what more can one ask for. Did I mention the food, man the food is to die for,and they have an ice cream name stout man you gat to try it.

I stopped there last Christmas after my tour up at Nine Mile…There were some military police who were eating there . I asked them very sweetly if they could pose with me and their guns…and they reluctantly took pictures with me ! Hey it never hurts to ask right…lol ! The jerk was fantasic and I’m pretty sure that dog was there too…lol. I love Jamaica so much.. 8 more months to moving day….paradise here I come.
