Jamaican High Grade Growing Wild!I couldn’t wait to do this post from the minute I snapped these pictures! Jamaican high grade (marijuana) actually grows wild in the Blue Mountains! We checked into a guest house high up in the mountains a couple weeks ago and discovered through a little hike in the hills that marijuana up here just grows where ever it wants! The owners of the guest house told me that probably one day a long time ago someone was building a spliff and some seeds just fell out into the ground.

Now I’m not a weed smoker but finding these plants really fascinated me because not too many people can say they just stumbled across a big Marijuana plant and got to play in it! Whenever people in Jamaica smoke weed around me I actually love the smell of it and this plant had the most fresh, pungent smell in the wild. I could smell it from 10 feet away.

On this trip I had my 18 year old son with me so you can imagine what a novelty it was for him. We were fighting to pose for pictures around the plant, in the plant, near the plant, etc. Anyways, yes I totally got a kick out of this hidden treasure “high” up in the hills (no pun intended)!

now thats quite the experience. I’m a Jamaican and I haven’t seen an actual growing ganja plant in years! I need to get out of Kingston more often.

wish I could get some to make some tea,love marihuana tea I don’t smoke and know I never will. love when you pour some rum or scotch on the leaves and leave in a bottle for some time. taste is great.
